Youngsters are invited to describe their vision or forecast of Israel's future in 20 years from now, with a chance to win prizes in the "Youth Thinking of Tomorrow" competition for 9th to 11th graders.
To participate in the competition, candidates must describe their vision or forecast of Israel's future in 20 years from now by writing a story/article, producing a newspaper, creating a visual artwork, or an audio or video clip. Participants can write about any subject relating to the State of Israel today that needs fixing or any current trends that might influence the future.
The creative works will be judged by a professional steering committee and displayed in the framework of the events marking 60 Years of Israel's Independence. The creators of the selected works and their schools will be awarded prizes and certificates.
1. Creations must be sent in to the website by Monday, 24 Adar Bet 5768
(March 31, 2008).
2. A panel of judges will be set up by the appropriate subject supervisor-coordinator to
evaluate the works by Tuesday, 26 Nisan 5768 (May 1, 2008).
3. The works will be displayed and the prize giving ceremony will be held around Herzl Day 10 Iyar
5768 (May 15, 2008).
