The International Bible Contest for adults had been a tradition from Israel's 10th anniversary calibrations onwards. In recent years, the contest has been restricted to youth alone, but this year, to mark 60 years of Israel's independence, the Bible Contest for adults will be renewed and held in Jerusalem.Jews from all over the world compete in the contest, the very existence of which symbolizes love of our Jewish heritage and the close ties between the Jews of the Diaspora and the State of Israel.
