To mark 60 years to the independence of Israel, a unique performance will be conducted by ten military bands from different countries and the IDF band for the first time in Israel.

The performance "Saluting with notes, military bands play for peace" will be conducted on Independence Day in Haifa and is set to be an extremely special musical and visual experience. The performance will include orchestra parades, during which each band will play a repertoire of its songs. At the end of the show all the bands will play the IDF march Hevenu Shalom and the national anthem (Hatikva).

The military bands will stay at different locations in southern and northern Israel where they will take part in local Independence Day events the day before.
