The 60's headquarters provides sponsorship to a stunning violin concert to be held along the Jerusalem walls on the 24.09.08. The concert will open with a composition, composed and conducted by the French composer Michele Lagrene, one of the most important films composers and an internationally renowned classical music composer. The composition the legendary composer will conduct will be the one he composed for the film Yentl, but this time preformed by violins. The violins of hope is a unique concert in every aspect, the performers who include the philharmonic orchestra of Istanbul and Symphonett Raanan, the instruments used, violins fixed by the violin maker Amnon Weinstein after they were collected from all over Europe. The violins belonged to Jews who were in the Holocaust and will now make a sound again, after 65 years of silence. The festive concert will be produced by Beni Bore, one of the largest producers in Israel and abroad and one of the initiators of the evening. The concert will be funded by Meir Panim organization from Europe and the USA in collaboration with the 60's headquarters. The concerts is set to be one of the peaks of the 60 years of independence celebrations and respected artists and guests from Israel and abroad are expected to attend it.
