The Israeli Police invites you to a huge family event to mark 60 years of independence and 60 years of police activity.
On Israel's festive day, 8.5.08, the Israeli Police will open its gates to the Israeli public. The happening will take place at the Police Academy at Kiryat Ata, starting at 9:00 and until 15:00.
The happening is the initiative of the Israeli Police to mark sixty years of juvenile delinquency prevention training and law enforcement in the Israeli community.
At the happening, the police will demonstrate its advanced capabilities at the field of investigation, and criminal identification, the facilities and devices it uses in its fight against crime, the skills of the special units, the use of animals in the fight against drugs, finding missing persons and more.
The visitors will also be able to visit the Police Heritage Center, which reviews all the policing activities from biblical times and until this day, in this tour the visitors can learn about the Police's activity along the years. The happening will include fun activities for children and adults such as: paintball shooting, creative activities, a performance at the central stage and more.
